Competency-based medical education
for advocacy and communication
About petale
PETALE is our vision for a bilingual learning platform built specifically for Canadian postgraduate medical education learners, to bridge the gap between academic health science language and the public communication about health knowledge.
Our mission
The broader goal of the platform is to support a distributed and blended curriculum that combines asynchronous learning, live workshops, and experiential opportunities.
We aim to provide a standardized digital foundation with program-level oversight and training programs that offer high-quality advocacy education while keeping local flexibility in how they deliver the curriculum.
With PETALE, we will provide quality, up-to-date information is presented as interactive, easy-to-track activities that are both engaging and informative for residents and fellows on-the-go.
