Better health needs better communication

SPARC is a University of Toronto centre that helps clinicians, scientists, and public health experts communicate clearly, build public trust, and improve health outcomes in a crowded information age. We were founded on a simple, urgent question:

How can experts best communicate in the modern information ecosystem so that health outcomes improve?

Why SPARC Exists

The information ecosystem is broken, and health is paying the price. Canadians can reach more information than ever, yet trust in science and experts is falling, traditional journalism is shrinking, and misinformation spreads faster than facts.

Health experts hold the knowledge people need. However, too often they lack the tools, confidence, or platforms to share it well.

SPARC exists to change that.
